Vaughan caters for up to 3 people (not suitable for groups - please see Hepburn Springs as a larger cottage). The cottage is almost off grid with exception of power and is best suited to eco-conscious dwellers. It features a Queen master room and a double bed in the separate room if required for the odd stay. Your dogs will love zooming around, stretching their legs in an idyllic setting with carefully fenced off ditches and creek. And you’ll love knowing you actually don’t need to be anywhere but here if you wish. Enjoy the doggy smack-down arena and expansive, safe grounds for ball play and sunsets. Experience the view from the newly laid patio (or deck) with your own private hillside everywhere you look. Soak in the history of the cabin who was until recently owned by the same family for 100 years! The original outdoor dunny and cooker now quirky artwork adding to your view. WHO DOES IT SUIT? For potential guests, yes you can absolutely be from the city. We were once! I love showing people rural Vaughan. So anyone is very welcome to stay here but it's best suited to those who love nature and will immerse themselves in the country. Being fully on tank water and affordably priced, we appreciate guests who are conscious of water and electricity use.
